Raise Your Hand KZN

Venue: Banqobile Secondary School, Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal
This day was designed to support the Department of Education’s strategic programs through an interactive activation that included members of the greater community. It also speaks to SABC Education’s strategies to encourage an increase in active participation from parents, learners and communities in improving and maintaining their schools. Ukhozi FM joined us for the day.

Raise Your Hand At Ipopeng Secondary School, FS

Venue: Ipopeng Secondary School, Winburg, Free State

The key message was that learners, educators, parents and the community should make 2016 count – 2016 should be year of excellence. We encourage positive energy and dedicated action that will result in excellence this year. A competition was introduced to ensure participation from the learners and educators alike. Lesedi FM partnered at the event and conducted interviews with the RYH Outreach Manager, school principal, SABC Provincial General Manager Mr. Vincent Tsoenyane and media personalities (Uzalo actors).
