Raise Your Hand KZN

This day was designed to support the Department of Education’s strategic programs through an interactive activation that included members of the greater community. It also speaks to SABC Education’s strategies to encourage an increase in active participation from parents, learners and communities in improving and maintaining their schools. "The "Raise Your Hand" website provides information to individuals wishing to undertake volunteer work and the community organisations sponsoring volunteer opportunities. Individuals undertaking volunteer opportunities listed on this website are volunteers of the sponsoring organisation and not affiliated with the SABC in any way.


The SABC does not endorse the volunteer opportunities identified on this website and bears no responsibility whatsoever for the activities and actions of the organisations. Each sponsoring organisation bears sole responsibility for the volunteer opportunities identified, including but not limited to the organisation's selection of volunteers and the terms and conditions of participation in the volunteer opportunities. Any dispute that may arise between volunteers and a sponsoring organisation must be resolved by the individual and the sponsoring organisation involved.
