‘Integrated approach key to tackling gender violence’
The Minister of Women in the Presidency, Susan Shabangu, says the scourge of gender violence in South Africa has reached a crisis level.
This comes after the increase of violent attacks, kidnappings and killings of young women and girls around the country.
Shabangu was speaking on Morning Live at the Bara Taxi rank in Soweto in Johannesburg on Friday.
She says an integrated approach into gender violence which will include both men and women is the best way to combat the scourge.
