The SABC is positioning itself as an organisation that listens and it is doing so through open dialogues and countless engagement sessions with partners who contribute to the success of the Corporation.
On Tuesday, 16 July 2019, the SABC Commercial Enterprises team lead by the SABC’s GCEO, Mr Madoda Mxakwe, met with clients at Melrose Arch Hotel, Johannesburg.
The GCEO highlighted that the aim of the session was to build confidence among clients and give them assurance on the corporations’ stability as well as provide a status update on its affairs. He explained “The session which is part of the annual programme is an effort to show transparency, ensure constant communications and build mutually beneficial relations between the organisation and its clients.”
The Acting Group Executive: Commercial Enterprises, Mr Warren Bedil, also highlighted that the annual SABC GCEO Engagements are geared to give advertisers and business partner’s confidence in the Corporation’s stability, whilst assuring them that the organisation has the ability to continue to deliver return on investment on every campaign.
He further highlighted that communication platforms across multiple sectors and the fact that every major agency and the majority of biggest spenders on TV and Radio are represented at the engagements illustrates the importance of our platforms to the market. He explained “An honest and transparent SABC cannot be understated, and an open discussion forum provides our teams with insight into how the market perceives the organisation, giving us the opportunity to respond and ultimately improve our service and delivery.”
“With open lines of communication at the highest level and it is vital that we acknowledge the inputs, and adapt in order to remain at the forefront of media and marketing in South Africa.” Warren concluded.
