Tell Me Something on SABC2

This environment is depicted in 13 episodes of Tell Me Something, an SABC Education programme scheduled for broadcast on SABC2, Saturdays at midday from 17 July 2010. Maijang Mpherwane, Commissioning Editor at SABC Education says: "The show gives 8-12 year olds an opportunity to express their thoughts and resolve some of the issues they face in life. Tell Me Something is entertaining and inspirational; the positive role model teenagers involved are real and accessible and want to do right."

Tell Me Something combines drama and fun with real life issues. The education value is communicated informally, but not less effectively. The series incorporates technology, new media and up-to-date information that are in touch with the tweens' world. Main characters include Unathi Fani, Bridgette Sgede and Obakeng Motsepe.

SABC2's Publicity Manager Zandile Nkonyeni says "Tell Me Something is bright, funny and positive. SABC2, the family channel is delighted to broadcast this series that will make a real difference in the lives of young people throughout South Africa."
