The campaign, which is part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, seeks to ensure that every child worldwide has the opportunity to go to school and learn, by canvassing support from the public, footballers and celebrities to make a united plea to all governments to meet their target on 'Education for All'.The public has been urged to SMS the word 'Goal' to 31970, to pledge their support. No donations required, just a show of support. The First Citizens are encouraged to pledge their support by sending an SMS to the dedicated number to join the campaign.

Morning Live has been promoting the campaign, urging the public to pledge their support. The campaign has also been carried by various SABC Radio stations and other television shows.

The President addressed leaders at a Summit in Pretoria on Sunday the 11th of July urging them to meet their goals. The Summit offered world leaders a chance to draw up a roadmap to ensure that every child is in school by the time the 2014 FIFA World Cup takes place in Brazil.
